The wait is almost over for millions of students across Bangladesh. The SSC Result 2026 will be published on July 20, 2026. Education Minister A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon confirmed the date on Monday.
He made the announcement at a press conference. It was held at the Ministry of Education in the Secretariat. The minister said the result would come out within 60 days of the exams. This follows the long-standing rule in Bangladesh.
When Will the SSC Result 2026 Come Out?
The minister was clear about the timeline. He said the SSC and equivalent results would be released on July 20. He confirmed that he had already given the instruction.
This date follows a familiar pattern. By custom, results are published within 60 days after the theory exams end. The countdown starts once the written papers are over.
The theory exams ended on May 20, 2026. Counting 60 days from that point lands close to July 20. So the date fits the usual schedule.
SSC 2026 Exam Schedule at a Glance
This year’s exams ran a little later than normal. The SSC exams began on April 21, 2026. The theory papers continued until May 20, 2026.
The practical exams are still going on. These tests will run until June 14, 2026. Students must complete all practical work by that date.
The delay in the schedule had clear reasons. Ramadan fell in March this year. National elections were also held in February. Together, these events pushed the exam dates back.
How Many Students Sat for the Exam?
The SSC exam is the biggest public exam in Bangladesh. This year, the numbers were huge. More than 18 lakh 57 thousand students took part.
These students came from different streams. Some sat under the nine general education boards. Others took the Dakhil exam under the Madrasah Education Board. The rest sat for SSC and Dakhil (Vocational) under the Technical Education Board.

Students can check their Education Board Result in a few easy ways. Both online and SMS options will be open. All boards will release the result at the same time.
To check online, visit the official websites. These include educationboardresults.gov.bd and eboardresults.com. Students will need their roll number and registration number.
The online portal also shows the full marksheet. You can see your grade in each subject. You can view your final GPA as well.
To check by SMS, the method is simple. Type SSC, then your board’s short name, then your roll number, then 2026. Send the message to 16222. Each part should have a space in between.
Schools will also help on result day. Many institutions print a copy of the result. They put it on the school notice board. So students can check there too.

Result day can feel stressful. Websites often get busy in the first few hours. So millions of people try to log in at once.
Stay calm if the site is slow. Try again after some time. The SMS option can also help if the website is down.
