New CCTV and Security Policy
To prevent malpractice, the Madrasah Education Board has issued a new conducting policy. For the first time, CCTV cameras are mandatory in all examination halls and entry points.
- Video Recording: Centers must record the entire duration of the exams. These recordings may be reviewed by the board at any time.
- Digital Device Ban: Students and teachers are strictly forbidden from bringing mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic devices into the center.
- Center Secretary Rule: Only the Center Secretary is allowed to carry a basic “button” phone (without a camera or internet) for emergency communication.
- Analog Clocks: All exam rooms must display traditional analog clocks to help students track time without digital aids.
Inclusive Guidelines for Candidates
The board has emphasized a student-friendly yet disciplined environment. Candidates must arrive at the center at least 30 minutes before the start of the exam (by 9:30 AM).
- Search Procedures: Security checks will be conducted at the gates. Female students will be searched by female teachers in a private and respectful manner.
- Continuous Testing: There will be no break between the Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) and the Creative/Written sections.
- Admit Cards: Students are advised to collect their admit cards from their respective Madrasahs at least three days before the start of the exams.
Expert Opinion
Education analysts believe that the shift from the traditional February start to April—due to the recent National Elections and Ramadan—has given students extra time to prepare. “The integration of technology like CCTV shows that the Madrasah Board is committed to modernizing the assessment process while maintaining the integrity of religious education,” said a senior education reporter.
